At heart, we’re a local company and we always have been. Just because One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning trucks can be seen from coast to coast, that doesn’t mean OUR focus lies anywhere other than south-central Pennsylvania. Lancaster County is in our blood and has been since the very beginning. When we were founded in April of 1959 by Harry and his wife Evelyn Rohrer, we were just Harry C. Rohrer Plumbing and Heating. While Evelyn kept the books, Harry did plumbing and HVAC work for his friends and neighbors. Even though we’ve grown in reach, not that much has changed.
Under the leadership of Scott Rohrer, grandson of Harry, we adopted Direct Energy’s One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning mantle. The Direct Energy guarantee of timely, respectful service matched the ethics that had guided our business all along. Joining provided us access to state-of-art technological innovations and expert resources and support.
When it comes down to it, we are still the same family company that began in April of 1959, only now, we can offer our friends and neighbors cutting-edge 21st century resources.
At One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, the warranties and guarantees are industry leading because of our experienced technicians and the high are state-of-the-art, guaranteed quality parts we use. Our technicians are friendly, clean, polite, drug tested and experienced—and our techniques!
SKILLED PROFESSIONALS—Our employees are skilled at their craft, have apprenticed with master technicians, take continuing education courses, and regularly attend seminars.
FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS—If our technician smokes or swears in your home or on your property, you don’t pay a penny for the service.
CLEAN—If our technician doesn’t wear shoe covers inside your home, or leaves your home without cleaning up, you don’t pay a penny for the service
DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE—Our employees go through an extensive battery of background checks before being hired, and random drug tests, where permitted by law, throughout their tenures.
